How to delete all your Facebook profile wall posts
Last Updated on Sunday, 13 November 2011 19:00
Facebook currently doesn't offer the option to delete or remove all your Facebook posts on your profile. Fortunately we have a app to fix this.
The Clean My Wall App will remove all your Facebook wall posts.
Please Note: mockbox.net cannot be held liable for any data loss caused by this App (deleting posts etc). Use at YOUR OWN risk.
Please note:
- There may be some posts left over due to Facebooks' 'Older posts' feature hiding these posts.
- To be certain that all posts have been removed I suggest that after running the tool has completed you open your profile again, click on the 'Older posts' link until all your 'older posts' are displayed and then run the tool again.
- It's also worth noting that the Facebook data is stored on multiple servers. So it may take several days, or weeks for the information to be completely removed. So some of your friends might see some old posts until then.
Instructions:
Step 1: Install App to Bookmark (or Favourites)
- Right click on the 'Launch Clean My Wall App' button below and select 'Bookmark This Link' (or 'Add to favourites' for Internet Explorer)
| Launch Clean My Wall App |
Step 2: Open your Facebook profile
- Go to www.facebook.com
- Open your profile by clicking on your name at the top right of the page
Step 3: Launch Clean My Wall App
- Open the Bookmark saved earlier (or Favourite for Internet Explorer)
- Click 'Go' to start the App
- Click 'OK' to confirm you want to erase all your posts
- The App will begin erasing your posts and will take several minutes to complete. You can minimise the window or use another tab whilst it is running.
- When it has finished, open your personal profile again
- Click on the 'Older posts' link to access the older (archived) posts. (Please Note: you may need to do this several times to open all your older posts)
- Open the Bookmark again (or Favourite for Internet Explorer)
